Hello! We are a private orthodontic practice seeking a Full Time Orthodontic assistant.

We are located in The Woodlands, TX. We offer great treatment and customer service to our patients. Our doctor cares about each team member and treats them like family. As our clinic grows, we need more help. We are looking for individuals who excel in a fast-paced environment and are eager to grow with us, assisting the orthodontist in providing quality dental care.

Qualifications:

• Must have 1 year orthodontic assistant experience
• Must have RDA license
• Adherence to all safety and infection control rules

Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Assist orthodontist with placing/removing arch-wires, braces, 3D scans, clear aligner procedures, and taking quality photos for records
• Take impressions and make retainers
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate medical/dental records
• Follow HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality
• Perform basic administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments
• Communicate professionally with patients and staff
• Assist with cleaning the lab and operatories, waste removal, and general tidiness
• Help answer phone calls and follow up with patients regarding treatment plans

Working Hours:

Tuesday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, and two Saturday mornings per month, 8 am to 1 pm.
