Position: Orthodontic Assistant – Back Office (Travel Required)

Locations: Arcadia & Gilbert, AZ (Approx. 33 miles apart)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $20–$26/hour (based on experience)

About Us

At Sonoran Smile Orthodontics, we’re dedicated to creating beautiful smiles and unforgettable experiences! We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our friendly team. This role involves working at both our Arcadia and Gilbert locations, providing variety and the opportunity to build relationships with patients across two vibrant communities.

What You’ll Do

• Assist orthodontists with procedures such as X-rays, impressions, and placing braces
• Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
• Provide chairside support, especially for children and patients needing extra comfort
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and care of orthodontic appliances
• Document treatment plans and patient progress
• Support the orthodontist’s schedule and help manage supplies

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in orthodontics is required
• Dental assisting certification (COA, RDA, CDA) is a plus
• Completion of a dental assisting program is preferred but not required
• Must be comfortable traveling between Arcadia & Gilbert
• A friendly, compassionate approach with patients of all ages
