Traveling Orthodontic Assistant at Pippin Dental and Braces.

• Part-Time: Monday - Thursday (8am - 4pm)

We are actively seeking a Traveling Orthodontic Assistant to support our mission of providing excellent dental care in the community. Find your opportunity to make an impact:

• Participate in local events like school screenings and presentations to promote a positive image.
• Engage in morning huddles, appreciate peers, and highlight teamwork and customer focus.
• Enjoy working with children, who make up over 70% of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate care to patients.
• Guide parents and patients through processes before treatment.
• Educate on oral hygiene and postoperative care.
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment.
• Take x-rays and save to patient charts.
• Take orthodontic facial photos and ensure operational readiness.
• Prepare tray setups, mix materials, and prepare impression materials.
• Sterilize instruments, clean treatment areas, and assist staff.
• Document patient information and treatment plans.
• Fabricate impression trays and polish casts.
• Adhere to all regulations and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Orthodontic or Dental Assistant Certification (state dependent).
• Preferred 1+ years of orthodontic assisting experience.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Willing to travel within the assigned territory.
• Strong customer service skills and love for working with children.
• High integrity, dependability, attention to detail, and professionalism.
