We seek a dedicated, dependable Orthodontic Assistant eager to help create a friendly and comfortable environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities Include

• Maintain patient flow by seating patients promptly and starting procedures
• Place separators, elastic chains, and wires
• Prepare teeth for bonding braces and Invisalign attachments
• Check for loose brackets or bonds, scale cement
• Monitor and instruct on oral hygiene
• Keep supplies stocked and sterilized
• Debrief patients and parents post-appointment
• Take X-rays, scans, and impressions
• Chart patient notes and schedule follow-up appointments
• Answer questions regarding treatment
• Assist Orthodontist during procedures
• Anticipate the doctor’s needs and act accordingly
• Perform sterilization and other tasks as assigned
• Attend staff meetings and adhere to office policies
• Represent the practice positively both inside and outside the office

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay plus benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, FSA/HSA, disability, 401(k), paid time off, holidays, professional growth opportunities, and a monthly bonus.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year dental assisting experience, orthodontics preferred
• X-Ray Certification a plus

Salary Range

$20-$25 per hour
