Job summary

Schieck Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to deliver a positive clinical experience for patients while adhering to state laws and practice guidelines under the Orthodontist’s supervision.

You will assist with appliances, educate patients on care and monitor remote data, while maintaining sterile, organized operatory setup and following infection-control policies.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
  • Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
  • CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
  • Review patient charts, log data and transcribe doctor notes.
  • Perform laboratory procedures under supervision of the Orthodontist.
  • Review remote monitoring dashboard, triage patient scans and respond to messages.
