Job summary

Smilebliss by Dr. Very Orthodontic Assistant supports clinical care and ensures the Smilebliss mission: affordability, a blissful experience, and time efficiency.

You will assist with orthodontic procedures, prepare patients for treatment, and help ensure high-quality care. You will help maintain smooth clinical flow by preparing operatories, taking scans and X-rays, and supporting documentation and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred, but not required.
• X-ray certification as required by state regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor with orthodontic procedures, including records, appliance placement, and adjustments.
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure comfort throughout the visit.
• Provide clear instructions and education to support treatment success.
• Help create a positive, supportive, and professional clinical experience.
• Prepare operatories and instruments to support on-time appointments.
• Seat patients promptly and support efficient clinical flow.
• Take digital scans, photos, and X-rays as needed.
• Ensure operatories are cleaned, stocked, and ready between patients.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Follow Smilebliss clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Support inventory organization and supply management.
• Communicate effectively with the doctor and team to support coordinated care.
