Smilebliss Orthodontics in Albany, NY is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to support the doctor with orthodontic procedures, manage patient comfort, and keep the clinical workflow efficient.

You will prepare operatories, take scans and photos, maintain records, follow Smilebliss protocols, and contribute to a positive, professional patient experience. Prior orthodontic or dental assisting experience is preferred.

• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure comfort throughout the visit

• Prepare operatories and instruments to support on-time appointments
• Seat patients promptly and support efficient clinical flow
• Take digital scans, photos, and X-rays as needed
• Ensure operatories are cleaned, stocked, and ready between patients
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
• Follow Smilebliss clinical protocols and safety standards
• Support inventory organization and supply management
• Communicate effectively with the doctor and team to support coordinated care
