Job summary

Spark Orthodontics in Lancaster/Harrisburg, PA, seeks a friendly orthodontics assistant to join our team. You will support the orthodontist during procedures, take X-rays, prepare materials, and help maintain a clean, sterile treatment area.

We value compassion, teamwork, and exceptional patient care for children and families. Schedule options include Mon-Wed in Lancaster/Harrisburg with a Thursday shift in Harrisburg; starting wage is $20.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous orthodontics experience is preferred but not required.
• Warm, friendly, courteous, and enjoys working with children.
• Punctual, responsible, and a fast learner.
• Ability to multitask is critical.
• Be receptive to training and coaching on best practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude and deliver excellent customer service to patients
• Coordinate patient care and treatment according to the doctor and other team members
• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including taking X-rays, preparing materials, and providing chairside support
• Ensure a clean and sterile environment by following proper infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
• Properly sterilizes instruments on a regular basis
• Assists doctor with cementation of bands and bracket placement
• Properly take the correct x-rays when needed on each patient

Schedule: Monday-Wednesday 7:45am - 5:30pm. Harrisburg location: Thursdays 7:45am - 5:30pm

Compensation: Starting $20.00
