Job summary

Adventure Dental, Vision and Orthodontics in Denver, CO is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high-quality and compassionate care to all patients. You will assist with radiographs, charting, and patient education while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate note-taking, and adherence to OSHA standards in a fast-paced dental setting serving underserved communities.

Qualifications

• Must have radiology education and training that meets state requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with patients and parents.
• Ability to multi-task and perform dental tasks accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records.
• Obtain quality dental radiographs (periapicals, bitewings, panoramic) as requested by the dentist.
• Write accurate and consistent notes, ensuring chart notes match services completed.
• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents and educate them on oral health.
• Organize and sterilize dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards.
• Ensure the practice is clean and presentable to patients (restrooms, lobby, cleaning, vacuuming).
• Participate in other duties that support high-quality dental, vision, and orthodontic services for underserved children.

Position Overview

Adventure Dental, Vision and Orthodontics in Denver, CO are currently seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients.

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records
• Obtain quality dental radiographs (periapicals, bitewings, panoramic) as requested by the dentist
• Write accurate and consistent notes, ensuring chart notes match services completed
• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents as well as educating them on good oral health
• Organize and sterilizing dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Job Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents
