Tanna Orthodontics is seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to join our Eastvale and Chino Hills orthodontic team. The role focuses on patient care, instrument prep, X-ray imaging, and accurate record keeping to support our orthodontists.

Ideal candidates will have OA license or RDA, strong infection-control knowledge, and excellent communication. You will collaborate with staff to deliver safe, high-quality orthodontic treatment and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during exams and procedures.

This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized clinical environment.

Duties

• Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed for diagnostic purposes.
• Maintain accurate dental records and documentation for each patient visit.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as required.
• Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and safety regulations within the practice.
• Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and treatment outcomes.

Skills

• Proficiency in Ortho assisting techniques, including knowledge of orthodontic procedures.
• Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus, facilitating seamless patient interactions.
• Strong understanding of infection control standards and medical terminology.
• Ability to perform X-ray imaging safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
