Job summary

The JOY FM in Augusta, GA is seeking a detail-oriented PRN X-ray Technologist to support our orthopedic practice with diagnostic imaging and patient care.

You will perform X-ray exams, explain procedures, position patients, maintain equipment, review images, and follow radiation safety guidelines.

Certification as an X-ray Technician, state licensure, and teamwork are required; orthopedic experience is a plus and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Certification as an X-ray Technician from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure to practice as an X-ray Technician.
• Experience in an orthopedic setting is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray examinations on patients following safety protocols.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
• Position patients to obtain high-quality images.
• Maintain imaging records and equipment in good condition.
