Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a registered nurse to join the 24-bed Orthopedic/Trauma unit. You will provide post‑operative care, telemetry monitoring, and infusion administration, delivering patient-centered care with strong clinical skills.

Candidates should be a graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved program with an active RN license, BLS, and typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific based on practice location).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Additional certifications or experience may be required based on specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient-centered care using the nursing process, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate treatment aligned with clinical standards
• Apply evidence-based practice and clinical judgment to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and overall experience across the care continuum
