Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Ortho Trauma 10RT unit. You will care for post-surgical orthopedic patients in a 24-bed unit, using telemetry and varied infusions, while advancing postoperative recovery and mobility.

Ideal candidates have a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program, an active RN license, and BLS certification, with about a year of clinical nursing experience. BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific based on practice location).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Additional certifications or experience may be required based on specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient-centered care using the nursing process, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate treatment aligned with clinical standards.
• Apply evidence-based practice and clinical judgment to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and overall experience across the care continuum.
