Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN seeks a Registered Nurse in Orthopaedics/Ortho Trauma for night shifts. This 36-hour week unit features a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio on a fast-paced, highly collaborative team caring for joint replacements, fractures, and trauma cases.

Applicants need at least 1 year of RN experience, TN license (or compact) within 60 days, and a nursing degree. Relocation bonuses and loan repayment programs are available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN experience in a clinical setting.
• State or Compact TN license within 60 days of establishing TN address.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred for trauma care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates care delivery across the continuum.
• Analyzes patient information to determine nursing diagnoses and interventions.
• Promotes patient safety and a healthy environment; supports family education.
