Job summary

North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Ortho Trauma 10RT unit. The role focuses on post-surgical orthopedic and trauma care with telemetry monitoring and various infusions.

You will work with RNs, CNAs, and unit clerks to provide patient-centered care. Ideal applicants will have an active RN license, BLS certification, and about 1 year of clinical nursing experience, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific based on practice location).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Additional certifications or experience may be required based on specialty.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient-centered care using the nursing process, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate treatment aligned with clinical standards.
• Apply evidence-based practice and clinical judgment to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and overall experience across the care continuum.
