Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Orthopedic Trauma specialty. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and follow established nursing models to achieve positive clinical outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (or be enrolled in an accelerated BSN with plans to complete within five years), NC licensure (eNLC may apply), and at least one year of nursing

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in BSN with plan to complete within 5 years.
• NC RN license required; eNLC may apply.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and shifts; report changes promptly.
• Administer medications and document care in the medical record.
• Provide compassionate patient education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with providers and the care team to coordinate care.
