Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent Navicent Health Medical Center’s 5Main unit is a 36-bed acute care med/surg trauma unit focused on orthopedic and multiple trauma injuries. The RN will provide and coordinate patient care, using evidence-based practice to ensure safety and high-quality outcomes.

Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential. The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.
