Job summary

Carle Health NT4 41-bed unit is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive patient care on a high-acuity orthopedic and trauma service line.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, wound care, mobility, patient education, and collaboration with physicians to ensure safe transitions. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for external applicants with >1 year of experience and a 3-year commitment.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA)
• Licensed RN with Illinois IDFPR
• Education: Nursing Diploma; Associate's Degree

Responsibilities

• Performs initial assessments on admission and develops a care plan.
• Implements plan of care and nursing interventions.
• Maintains documentation of nursing care for the care team.
• Educates patients on wound care, mobility, and self-care.
