Corewell Health's 9SE musculoskeletal unit at Royal Oak Hospital is seeking an experienced healthcare assistant to join the day shift. You will provide patient care under the RN, assist with transport, and support observation duties on a 36-hour week.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and CNA preferred. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team environment on a Magnet-designated campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred depending on role.
• BLS certification required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Experience in hospital or nursing home setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients according to plan of care and unit policy under RN supervision.
• Safely transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher and document services.
• Serve as Observer for patients requiring constant observation.
• Perform receptionist and clerical duties and document care in the EMR.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent

Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred

American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required

Current CNA certification preferred
