Job summary

Temple Health is seeking an Orthopedic Tech Aide to support the orthopedic team in outpatient offices and clinics in Philadelphia. This full-time, day-shift role interacts with medical staff and patients to ensure a seamless patient experience from arrival to departure.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of orthopedic healthcare experience, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of orthopedic experience in a healthcare setting is required.
• Basic Life Support required; CMA/Cert Clin Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant/Ortho Tech Certified required.

Responsibilities

• Assists orthopaedic surgeon in outpatient offices and clinics and coordinates with medical staff.
• Prepares for visits, rooms patients, takes vitals, and manages approvals as needed.
• Assists in scheduling procedures and surgeries in the office and in the OR/procedure suite.
• Supports regulatory readiness, inventory, stocking, and related tasks.
