Supports an orthopaedic surgeon in outpatient offices and clinics and interacting with medical assistants, athletic trainers, physician assistants, physicians, and other support staff. Follows patient from arrival to departure to ensure patient and provider needs met for best experience. Prepares for visits, vitals/rooming, approvals as needed. Assists in scheduling procedures/surgeries as needed in office and in OR/procedure suite. Assists in regulatory readiness, inventory, stocking, etc.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Experience

• 1 year of orthopedic experience in a healthcare setting Required

• Basic Life Support Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Required
• Cert Clin Medical Assistant Required
