Job summary

Aura Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Surgical & Orthopedic Care Unit. The 30-bed unit handles orthopedic and general surgeries, bariatric procedures, sepsis, and pancreatitis cases. You will maintain a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio with support from Patient Care Associates.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process to provide care, evaluating outcomes, and ensuring patient rights and confidentiality in a fast-paced setting. ACLS/BLS certified RNs preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Must meet state board requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced 30-bed unit.
• Evaluate care quality and patient outcomes.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless care.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality while maintaining professional accountability.
