Aura Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Surgical & Orthopedic Care Unit. The 30-bed unit handles orthopedic and general surgeries, bariatric procedures, sepsis, and pancreatitis cases. You will maintain a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio with support from Patient Care Associates.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process to provide care, evaluating outcomes, and ensuring patient rights and confidentiality in a fast-paced setting. ACLS/BLS certified RNs preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Must meet state board requirements.

Position: RN in Surgical & Orthopedic Care Unit

Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate with other departments, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and ensure professional accountability in a fast-paced, 30-bed unit. Care includes orthopedic surgeries, general surgeries, and specialized cases such as bariatric procedures, sepsis, and pancreatitis. Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6, supported by skilled Patient Care Associates, to deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient care.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited RN program, active RN license, and required certifications including ACLS and BLS. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform bending or kneeling. Must meet state board requirements.
