Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an RN Acute Care for Orthopedic Surgery on a full-time day shift in Georgia. The RN will work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, high-quality patient care, guided by Wellstar practice models and evidence-based standards.

Licensing and certifications are required, with a focus on patient safety and voice of the patient. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, collaboration, and professional development within a shared governance

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred.
• All certifications required upon hire (RN, BLS, etc).
• Minimum 2 years direct patient care nursing experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provide patient-centered care reflecting cultural diversity and individual needs.
• Partner with patients and families, coordinate multidisciplinary rounds and education.
• Support governance, quality improvement and performance initiatives.
