Job summary

AAH Franklin: Ortho - Surgery: Orthopedics in Wisconsin is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time role. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with travel to Pleasant Prairie, Mount Pleasant, and Franklin sites.

You will perform rooming tasks, vital signs, med reconciliation, screenings, and assist with procedures and labs under supervision. Requires MA training and Basic Life Support where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required depending on division.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows department policies.
• Performs rooming tasks, vital signs, medication reconciliation, medical history, health maintenance, allergy review, and screenings.
• Assists providers with procedures and laboratory duties, including venipuncture and POCT.
