Job summary

Orthopedic Institute of Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for a Full-Time position in Franklin and Mt Pleasant, WI to support Innovative Pain Care (IPC).

You will greet patients, take vital signs, assist clinicians, prepare rooms, maintain records, manage appointments, and ensure a safe, organized environment. On-site role with daytime hours; travel between Franklin and Mt Pleasant required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• MA program preferred but not required.
• Experience as Medical Assistant or similar role.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems (EHR).
• Ability to read manual BP is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as individually.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs and collecting specimens
• Prepare examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization
• Maintain accurate and efficient medical records and update patient information as needed
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Provide exceptional customer service and address patient concerns and inquiries
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
