Responsibilities

• Perform routine direct patient care duties to assist medical and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients
• Maintain patient care environments and supplies to ensure patient privacy and safety
• Room patients, including taking vital signs and reviewing medications and allergies
• Assist providers with minor procedures
• Stock and close down exam rooms
• Remove splints and casts
• Apply dressings
• Remove staples and sutures
• Prepare unsterile instruments for processing and sterilization through SPD
• Perform DME fittings
• Collect and accurately process patient specimens
• Conduct MRI screening procedures
