Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures utilizing a variety of imaging equipment, under department protocols and guidance from radiologists. The role includes reviewing patient history, administering contrast when needed, and maintaining imaging quality and safety standards.

The position supports ongoing education and collaboration, with a focus on accurate data transfer to PACS and timely communication for radiologist readings.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Registered in Radiography (R) within 1 year (ARRT).
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA).
• Associate’s Degree in related field or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures following department protocols and guidelines.
• Reviews cases with radiologist when appropriate.
• Reviews labs and patient history to ensure correct exam.
• Administers IV and oral/rectal contrast as applicable.
• Ensures safety and handles adverse reactions.
