Mercy is seeking a Patient Care Associate to support individualized patient care under RN/LPN guidance. You will obtain vitals, assist with meals, bathing and mobility, and handle light clerical tasks as part of a collaborative care team.

Training is provided through an accredited Mercy PCA program; new hires may complete a 175-hour training per state rules, with BLS within one month and PCA competencies within 3 months. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or GED or CNA/CPTC enrollment.
• Experience: None required.
• BLS within 1 month of hire and PCA competencies within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document into the EMR system.
• Assist with patient care needs (meals, bathing, toileting, mobility, transport).
• Provide clerical support as needed.
