Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager for our ortho/spine unit. This leader will guide shift operations, ensure high-quality patient care, and partner with nursing leadership to optimize patient flow and staff performance.

The CANM role requires clinical expertise, staff coaching, and strong communication to maintain safety, efficiency, and exceptional patient experience in a 30-bed unit with a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• Current RN license in Alabama or NLC
• BLS certification required
• Certifications in area of expertise preferred

Responsabilités

• Manages staffing assignments for shifts based on patient acuity and skills.
• Coordinates patient flow with Supervisors, Care Coordinators, and Discharge Planners.
