Job summary

Stryker Group in Chicago is seeking an Intern in Ortho Sales to gain hands-on experience with the latest medical technology and a path to a future career in sales. You will shadow Sales Associates, prepare account lists, learn selling skills, assist with kit deliveries, and support warehouse activities.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential; current enrollment in a related degree with a 3.0 GPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent; must plan to enroll after summer.
• GPA 3.0 or above preferred.
• Must be a permanent resident or citizen of the U.S.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work with enthusiasm.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to learn branch operations.
• Prepare a project segment to develop a target account list or marketing strategy.
• Learn selling skills with coaching from Sales staff.
• Shadow and assist team members delivering kits to accounts.
• Assist warehouse in assembling and preparing instrument kits for surgery.
• Interact with cross-functional teams about products.
• Support Sales and Field Ops on special projects.
