Grandview Medical Center - Birmingham, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinate and deliver high-quality care based on clinical protocols and physician orders, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Formación

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process and organizational policies.
• Administers medications, monitors for side effects, and documents administration.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
• Maintains infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
• Documents patient care and education thoroughly in the medical record.
• Performs routine nursing procedures and uses medical equipment as needed.
• Participates in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provides orthopedic care including perioperative stages and pain management.
