Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital's Orthopedic Unit is seeking a Clinical Nurse (RN) for full-time night shifts. This 23-bed unit cares for orthopedic trauma, sports injuries, and post-surgical needs, offering a collaborative environment and strong multidisciplinary teamwork.

You will educate patients and families, monitor recovery, and contribute to safety and quality initiatives while working a 3 x 12-hour schedule with a generous sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the United States and eligible for Missouri nursing licensure.
• Experience in orthopedics or acute care settings preferred.
• Evidence of patient education and care planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment home care and medications.
• Promote patient safety and quality with interdisciplinary teams.
