Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital is seeking an RN for Orthopaedics to join a 148-bed community hospital. You will care for post-surgical orthopedic and spine patients on 2 East, delivering high-quality care and patient education in a supportive team environment.

Shift is days, 7:00am–7:30pm. You will develop and implement care plans, monitor patients, administer medications, coordinate discharge planning, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current RN licensure.
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• One year of acute care RN experience in a hospital setting or licensed military RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
