Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using diverse imaging equipment. The role includes ensuring image quality, collaborating with radiologists, and maintaining safety standards for patients and staff.

The position requires ARRT registration, an Illinois IEMA radiography license, and an associate degree in radiologic technology, with additional opportunities for sign-on or relocation bonuses as noted in the posting.

Qualifications

Active BLS certification within 30 days.
ARRT registration in Radiography within 1 year.
Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (IEMA) required.

Responsibilities

Performs radiographic procedures by acquiring and processing patient exams per department protocols.
Reviews cases with the radiologist when appropriate.
Reviews labs and patient history to select correct exam.
Administers IV and oral/rectal contrast when appropriate.
Recognizes and responds to adverse or allergic reactions.
Transfers and verifies image data in PACS for radiologist interpretation.
Maintains imaging equipment and supply inventories.
Ensures safety of patients, staff, and environment.
