Job summary

Carle Health in Illinois seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures, operate imaging equipment, and support radiologists in interpretation.

This role requires BLS, ARRT registration, an Illinois Radiologic Technologist license, and an associate degree or radiologic technology certificate. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ARRT Radiography registration within 1 year.
• Licensure as Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA).
• Associate's Degree or radiologic technology certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures per protocols and guidelines.
• Review cases with radiologist when appropriate.
• Administer IV and oral/rectal contrast as needed.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and patient safety.
• Verify orders and ensure accuracy of imaging data.
• Maintain equipment and support staff as needed.
