Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiology program.
• Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• This position requires 1 year of experience and effective communication skills, human relations, data analysis and problem solving.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required at hire and maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures following department policies and procedures.
• Educates patients and families about procedures, risks, and prevention.
• Produces high-quality images and maintains documentation for interpretation.
• Demonstrates competence in prescribed procedures and ensures safety.
• Maintains equipment quality control and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Keeps necessary supplies stocked and supports department workflow.
