Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a physical therapist at the Fall Creek Sports Medicine Clinic to assess patients, develop treatment plans, and provide direct patient care. You will supervise assistants, train students, and serve as a resource for staff and interns.

Minimum qualifications include a PT degree and Texas licensure (or PT Compact). A current BLS and 2+ years of clinical experience are required, with the ability to lift heavy loads and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas or via compact.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Direct access path requires doctoral degree with residency or fellowship or licensed therapist with 30 hours of diff. diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete, comprehensive evaluation of patients and develops goals.
• Implements PT treatment and guides staff in patient care and progress.
• Documents findings and progress in medical records accurately.
• Mentors staff, students and residents and supports committees.
• Ensures safe care and adherence to Memorial Hermann policies.
