Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure from the state of Ohio as an RN.
• Completes Orientation Checklist and probation.
• Maintains 12 contact hours of continuing education annually (Fire Safety and BLS/CPR).
• Communicates effectively with people of varying backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Cares for a group of complex patients with initial assessment and ongoing monitoring.
• Coordinates nursing care reflecting independent assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Precepts new employees as assigned.
• Utilizes essential care equipment and participates in the clinical ladder.
