Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license (state)
• BCLS certification within 6 months of hire
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care and assess patient status across lifespan
• Ability to interpret information to identify patient requirements and provide care per policies

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Establishes and maintains communication and provides patient and family teaching
• Demonstrates knowledge to provide age-appropriate care
• Collaborates with Physician regarding patient condition, orders, and treatment plan
• Demonstrates accountability and leadership in supervising LPNs, Nurse Aides, and Secretaries
• Complies with organizational policies to ensure quality performance and compliance
• Maintains department competencies for provision of patient care
• Displays Service Excellence and promotes patient satisfaction
