Job summary

International Executive Service Corps is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate total nursing care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, Clinical Manager or designee. The role includes patient/family teaching and leadership to uphold professional nursing standards.

Key duties include applying the nursing process for comprehensive care, maintaining clear communication, and providing age-appropriate care while collaborating with physicians to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BCLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Assume on-call duties as scheduled.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Knowledge of growth and development over the life span.
• Ability to assess data reflective of patient status and provide age-appropriate care.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet physical and emotional needs.
• Establishes and maintains communication, and utilizes teaching opportunities for learning needs of patient and family.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills for age-appropriate care on the assigned unit.
• Collaborates with Physician regarding patient condition, orders, treatment plan, and anticipated needs.
• Demonstrates accountability and leadership in the performance of LPNs, Nurse Aides, and Secretaries.
• Complies with organizational policies, procedures, and practices to ensure quality performance and compliance.
• Maintains all department and unit competencies for patient care.
• Displays Service Excellence by promoting mission, vision and values.
