Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Part-time Multi-Skilled Technician to support registered nurses and deliver compassionate patient care on a 12-hour day shift. The role focuses on personal care, routine tasks, and accurate documentation to ensure a high-quality patient experience.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and performing EKGs and phlebotomy as delegated. Strong teamwork and dedication to patient well-being are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of EKG and Phlebotomy courses and initial clinical competency course upon hire or transfer.
• Completion and maintenance of BLS healthcare provider training.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Keep assigned patient rooms stocked, cleaned, and orderly.
• Obtain vital signs, including height, weight, blood glucose, and I&O.
• Perform EKG and phlebotomy as delegated by Staff RN.
• Document patient data accurately and completely.
