• Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, and physician instructions to patients.
• Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens and prepare for testing; perform phlebotomy if competent.
• Maintain immunization inventory and check expiration dates; provide immunizations as applicable.
• Assist with onboarding training for junior Medical Assistants and act as a liaison with other departments.
