Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training evidenced by a high school diploma or equivalent and graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum six months of front and back medical office experience.
• Two years of front and back medical office experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid California Driver’s License if hired into Medical Assistant Float Pool
• Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced environments and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures under general supervision and assist with patient-specific tasks.
• Float between departments and travel as required; process referrals and notify outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of scope of practice and accurate medical records (EHR).
