Job summary

Ardent is hiring a day shift, full-time Orthopedics Medical Assistant in Claremore, OK. The MA will provide patient care and perform administrative tasks in a clinic setting under physician supervision. Responsibilities include EMR data entry, patient greetings, vital signs, and exam support.

You will sterilize instruments, prepare exam rooms, manage inventory, and coordinate referrals/insurance authorizations. A high school diploma or GED is required, with BLS due within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic EMR and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into role.

Responsibilities

• Enters, maintains, and reports medical history and files claims using EMR.
• Greets patients and assists with exams; records vital signs and relevant information.
• Sterilizes instruments and maintains clean, ready examination rooms.
• Maintains inventory and stocks supplies for exam rooms.
• Processes referrals and insurance authorizations; communicates with pharmacies, hospitals, and labs.
