The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, formal medical assisting training, and current BLS certification, with at least one year in a public-facing role and healthcare

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited school of medical assisting.
• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Current BLS certificate on hire and maintain.
• Minimum one year work experience in public contact role.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks.
• Schedule appointments and manage charts.
• Provide information to patients to help them use clinic services effectively.
• Present a positive image of the organization.
