MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine - Norway is seeking a Medical Assistant for a per diem position. Responsibilities include rooming patients, refilling medications, managing post-endoscopy follow-ups, entering lab results, and abstracting charts.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, adaptable to daily healthcare changes, and team-oriented. Required: high school diploma/GED, MA training with 160 clinical hours or equivalent, 6 months MA experience or 1 year in a MaineHealth Clinical

Qualifikationen

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Medical Assistant training with 160 hours of clinical experience or equivalent.
6 months clinical experience as Medical Assistant or 1 year as a MaineHealth Clinical Team Assistant.
Current certification: AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT; BLS within 30 days.

Aufgaben

Rooming patients and preparing them for procedures.
Completing medication refills and follow-ups from endoscopy procedures.
Inputting lab results and abstracting charts.
Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
Assisting in a per diem clinic environment with flexible scheduling.
