Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Night shift. You will perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans while administering medications and coordinating care with the multidisciplinary team.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and at least Associate Degree in Nursing, with BSN preferred. You will contribute to patient education, documentation, and continuous improvement while benefiting from Day One benefits and a 15K sign-on

Qualifications

• Nurse must be RN licensed and in good standing.
• Nurse Educations and certifications may vary by unit/state.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff and departments to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Document patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Evaluate and adjust care plans to improve patient health and outcomes.
• Ensure infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care to healthcare team members.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond to code situations promptly and effectively.
