Job summary

Fair Logistics is seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain accurate inventory levels of orthopedic surgical products, implants, instruments, and related supplies in our warehouse and distribution network.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to ensure product traceability, timely availability, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • At least two years of professional work experience.
  • Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or distribution.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for orthopedic products and related supplies.
  • Receive, inspect, count, and verify incoming inventory against orders and specs.
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate shortages, overages, damaged or expired items.
  • Label, organize, store, and maintain inventory per procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist replenishment.
  • Track movement between warehouse locations and customer sites.
  • Maintain records of lot numbers, serial numbers, expiration dates.
  • Assist with assembly, replenishment, and inspection of kits and trays.
  • Identify missing or incorrect components and coordinate resolutions.
  • Support reconciliation activities and root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, distribution, customer service, sales, and operations.
