Family Orthodontics is seeking a dependable and energetic Orthodontic Assistant to join our fast-paced practice.
Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday | 7:15 AM - 4:30 PM
Requirements
- Orthodontic assisting experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high volume office
- Experience with bonding, bracket placement/removal, wire changes, scans, impressions, and orthodontic adjustments
- Knowledge of orthodontic appliances and procedures
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Georgia Expanded Duties preferred
Education/Credentials
- A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is .
- Radiography requirements according to the state regulations.
Job Related Experience
- Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desired.
- Pediatric experience, preferred

- Must have PC skills with an ability to learn and successfully use new software programs as required. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office is preferred; as well as experience with a fax machine, copy machine, and general office equipment.
Working Conditions
- Travel between the assigned offices, if needed
- Attend and participate in all office meetings, continuing education events and morning huddles
